The Librarian Of Basra Alia Muhammad Baker is a proud, dedicated librarian in the Iraqi city of Basra. Devoted readers flocked to her library to discuss everything under the sun. With war on the horizon, Alia feared that the collection would be damaged forever. After the government refused to help, saving as many books as possible became Alia's goal.
